The Wind Place is our stand-alone guest cottage—an airy, spa-inspired sanctuary located just next door to the Spa at Earthbox. With two bedrooms, a full kitchen, multiple lounging areas, and your own private lawn, it’s ideal for extended stays, small groups, or anyone craving space and quiet in the heart of Friday Harbor.
What You’ll Find Inside
At approximately 900 square feet, The Wind Place includes:
Two generously sized bedrooms with king beds (or one king + two twins)
Super-cozy mattresses and a variety of pillows
A large bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower
A second half-bath for extra privacy and ease
Locally made, eco-friendly body care products
Full kitchen with dining and sitting area for six
Separate upstairs TV room with DVD player and small futon
Plush robes to wear to the spa or pool house
Private lawn with stylish outdoor furniture for sunbathing or stargazing
Air conditioning throughout the unit
Things to Note
- Great for: extended stays, two couples, girls’ getaways, or anyone wanting extra space and total privacy.
- Located on Spring Street: The Wind Place sits right on the main street of Friday Harbor. While it’s wonderfully walkable and central, you may hear a bit of the island’s hustle and bustle during busy hours.
- Not pet-friendly: Please note that dogs are not allowed in this unit.
