Named for the element, not the view, our Water Place rooms reflect Earthbox’s nature-inspired theme—but they do not offer water views. We’re about four blocks from the harbor (an easy stroll), and our Water Place rooms are perfect for guests seeking comfort, calm, and convenience in the heart of Friday Harbor.

Each Water Place room is slightly unique, but all are about 250 square feet of cozy. They include:
A super-comfy queen bed and a variety of pillows
A compact bathroom with either a shower or shower/tub combo
Locally made, eco-friendly body care products
Some rooms include jetted tubs or private balconies—book early to request your preference
Air conditioning in every room (rarely needed, but we’ve got it)

Check availability for our Basic Water Place rooms. These offer the same amenities at a lower rate and are located near higher-traffic areas like the laundry room or main walkway. Great value for guests who plan to spend their time out exploring.
Dog-Friendly Options
