5 Places to catch Free Live Music in Friday Harbor this Summer

Posted on July 6, 2022

San Juan Island is renowned for its pristine nature, excellent whale and wildlife watching from sea and land, its rich history and last, but definitely not least, its vibrant art scene. There are nine art galleries, three museums and two bookstores, all within walking distance of our Earthbox Inn & Spa in Friday Harbor. See true island talent at the outdoor Shakespeare under the Stars festival or treat yourself to a play at the community theater.

And then there is the music...   All of the awesome, free, live music we have been missing during the pandemic. Here is where to find it:

Nothing says Summer like hearing music all over town. The Summer Music Concert Series at the waterfront features local musicians from the islands and surrounding areas. Dust off your dancing shoes or enjoy a cocktail at Downriggers next door while listening or both.
