Leave the Car Behind

You can always leave your car at the Washington State Ferry landing in Anacortes. Long-term parking is available at the terminal. With Earthbox Inn and Spa only a few blocks from the Friday Harbor ferry landing, you can easily walk or ride your bike to your destination. A courtesy shuttle from Earthbox to and from the Friday Harbor airport, ferry or seaplane dock is also available by prior arrangement.

If man's best friend is accompanying you to the island you can bring your dogs with you if you choose to walk on the ferry. If you do, you will walk load at ground-level with the bicyclists and your dog will need to stay on the car deck for the ride. Most ferries have an area in each corner where your pooch can rest comfortably out of the breeze during the trip to Friday Harbor.
