Who deserves a San Juan Island vacation as much as you do? Your dog, of course.

We offer dog-friendly rooms in several room types at Earthbox Inn & Spa (subject to a nightly fee and a two-dog max). Just let us know when you book so we can place you in one of our designated pet-friendly rooms.

When your pup arrives, we’ll have a pet blanket, food and water bowls, and a special treat waiting. Because that tail should be wagging from the moment they check in.

Please note: Dogs may not be left unattended in rooms or vehicles, and per health regulations, they are not allowed in the pool house.

Getting to the Island with Your Pup

Washington State Ferry

Leashed dogs are welcome on the car deck, in your vehicle, or in carriers on the passenger deck. Pups ride free! If you’re bringing a vehicle, don’t forget to make a reservation.

Kenmore Air

Flying in? Small dogs can sit on your lap or ride in a carrier. Larger dogs will need their own seat and must be leashed.

Headed to Canada?

You’ll need vaccine paperwork (especially for rabies) that identifies your dog by breed, color, and weight. It doesn’t have to be the original, but it must be in English or French. And don’t forget—humans need a passport, too.

Puppy Paradise on San Juan Island

My name is Louis and I own the Earthbox Inn & Spa. I’m in charge of making sure that my fellow dog brothers and sisters have a lovely vacation here at our hotel and on our island.

Dogs are Welcome! Dog-friendly San Juan Island

We take our pups with us...to places we all like and benefit from. One such place is beautiful San Juan Island.

Dogcation San Juan Island - Four Beaches in One Day!

My name is Falcor. I’m seven and a rescue. When people ask my Mom what I am, she says: ”a dog”.  Then everybody laughs. I’m not sure why, because I am in fact a dog.
